Our Mission
In addition to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and introducing people to His love, forgiveness and saving grace, the mission of Spirit of Truth Christian Ministries (SOT) includes teaching Bible truth, plain and simple.
Founded in 2009 by Bible student and Seventh-day Adventist Andrew V. Smith, SOT is seeking to clear up misconceptions about Christian doctrine and teach the truth in God's word. Our teachings follow the Bible and the examples of Jesus Christ and also include prophetic studies. We believe that the Ten Commandment Law is eternal and is God's universal Constitution with every commandment having the same meaning and relevance now as they did when they were initially instituted and handed down to mankind. The Bible teaches that everyone who believes in Christ and accepts Him as their personal Lord and Savior is a spiritual Israelite and heirs to the promises of God that were made to His chosen people in ancient times (Galatians 3:26-29).
SOT takes a historicist approach to understanding Bible prophecy, meaning it's our belief that most of the prophecies in the Bible have already had a historic fulfillment. Our focus is on preparing the world for the final events of end-time prophecy, which will include the enforcement of the "mark of the beast" (Revelation 13:15-17; 14:9-10), which makes spreading the Gospel our most important responsibility. The more people who know Christ, understand God's warnings and accept His Word in the fullness of its truth will be the ones He redeems from this earth to spend an eternity with Him.
